If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. II Timothy 2:21
Scriptures says, you are a vessel, vessels are something that holds something else. It says you are vessel of honor, which means it contains something special, the above verse says fit for the masters use, this should be you top priority. A vessel is very important when we have something very precious in it. As a vessel of honor we should always show love of God to everyone around you, anyone who chose to use the vessel should be able to enrich themselves from you.
And also be prepared unto every good work. For being prepared to do the good work, you need to constantly be in good faith. Paul says, to Timothy, you need to fight the good fight. Faith at highest is isn't faith for something, it's not just faith for healing, money, health; these are all good but, that is not the high point. Faith is a gift that's given to you and me, so we may have the communication with him. And God in His mercy and in His grace gave faith as a medium to be in relationship with Him. So, if nothing else, your faith should be constantly engaged in your relationship with God. There might have been situation when you are not anymore feeding on the faith which is given to you, you may be going back to the world and feeding on all worldly desires, I am not saying they are bad, but, please do not detach yourself from God. Do not lose your faith just because something bad happened. God says, I have plans for you, plans to prosper you. So, if any situation if you are looking very down then trust in the Lord, there is a sparkle, shine, new beginning waiting for you. Engage your faith. Keep talking to God. Have that daily communication with him.
Hebrews 11 first verse says " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Engage in faith, for we walk by faith not by sight.
Be Blessed.
