Love Well

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight.

Philippians 1:9

This is a letter by Paul to the church of Philippians and when I read this passage, I always wonder if the people or the church of Philippians are without love? Don't they exhibit the love of Christ? Why does Paul pray about love? When you look closer, Paul mentions a beautiful word "MORE". Which means, he wants the people of GOD to increase in their love.

There's another word in the above verse which fascinates me is "INSIGHT", which means "Capacity to gain deep understanding of someone or something". People who are part of your life are not by accident, but by purpose. Love the people around you, not just love, according to this verse increase your love day by day in such a way that you will have the deep understanding of the people in your life. They may seem not worth of your time or there may be people who say, I do not need anyone, I am just fine alone, they may not show the same love as you exhibit, but deep inside, you know, they need us, they need our fellowship, more than anything they need our LOVE.

When someone close to you says "Love you" or "You mean a lot" then you are a blessed one on this earth, not many hear these words in their lifetime, as God put people who show Love towards you, In 1 John 4:8 scriptures says- God is love. Which means God is dwelling between you. It takes lot of insight to say those words to anyone. Its not that easy as it sounds. In another scriptures it says, God So loved the world that he gave his Only Son.

Love is not put in anyone's heart just like that, it has a purpose. When you say "Love" it makes that connection between you and God.

Who ever lives in love, lives in God. This is how Love is made complete among us.

Just as people grow and circumstances change in their lives, we have to adapt our Love to those changes. We need to love Well do not set any boundaries. Our Love has to mature and grow always. Our Love has so much potential to bring people together and reach our fullest.
